Honor to Serve

November 13th, 2013 05:00:00 am

Honor to Serve

It is an honor to serve the government, and those serving need to be honorable.

But not a definition of honorable based on an archaic set of subjective criteria. Those elected officials who are serving the government and its people should be honorable in how they fulfill their contract of service. Anytime an elected official's services can be bought, or influenced through rewards or bribes, their service is no longer honorable. Their position should be immediately terminated, and they should be banned, never allowing or tolerating an abuse of public service again.

To this end, all lobbyist and campaign contributions should be immediately eradicated, eliminated, deemed illegal.

No single American's vote should have any greater influence than any other American's.
